The end client requested 2,500-3,000 inexpensive custom watches with the first 200pcs to deliver in 70 days. The initial product request included: an art layout for the face, a watch diameter of 65mm (2.5”), the incorporation of polka dots in the final design and a custom gift box.
After suggesting that a 2.5” watch would be too large and determining that the end client did not want that width, we provided two fully customized watch options for their consideration. The first one satisfied their initial request for a custom inexpensive watch in a slim plastic casing. The second was a much higher end watch.
Ultimately the client chose a pms matched silicone watch with a matching ABS Plastic case and aluminum crown, SEIKO PC21S Japanese movement, custom polka dot bezel, watch face with custom 3D numbering and glitter filled “15”, and custom shaped/pms matched hands. The watch was housed in a custom branded clear acrylic case. The end client loved the watch so much after approving the pre-production sample that they increased the order quantity from 3,000pcs to 6,215pcs.
